WAA Event
Christmas Market Day
Thursday 21 November 2024
Join us for our second Christmas Market. Returning after a successful first year, we will be holding a bigger and better festive themed evening.
Help spread the word about our charity at events by engaging with visitors, selling merchandise and bucket collecting.
We have volunteers at numerous events across Wiltshire and Bath throughout the year.
Could you join them?
Our volunteers can help local groups understand more about our charity by delivering talks out in the community.
We get asked to deliver in-person to businesses, groups, clubs and societies across Wiltshire and Bath, and can also engage with them virtually.
Full training and a presentation is provided.
You could help in the daily running of our Charity Shop in Devizes.
Spend time on the shop floor assisting customers and taking payments, or work behind the scenes by preparing stock to be sold.
Choose which days you would like to help out our dedicated team.
You will have the opportunity to visit businesses and groups and collect cheques from their community fundraising initiatives.
It's a great chance to meet people across Wiltshire and Bath and celebrate those who have worked hard to support their local air ambulance.
This is hugely rewarding, as saying thank you for people's efforts is great!
We are very proud to have Wilber (Paramedic Bear) and Marsha (Pilot Bear) as our mascots.
The pair are loved when they go out and about in the local community and visit events.
They are especially popular with kids, but we know adults can't resist them too!
You could help out at the airbase with office admin, sorting large mailouts to our donors or fulfilling items for our online shop.
We also need people to drive across Wiltshire and Bath to gather collection tins full of donations and replenish them with empty tins.
If you are a fan of gardening you can help keep our airbase looking pristine.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance needs £4.5million a year to continue its lifesaving service
At Wiltshire Air Ambulance, we ask for no minimum time commitment from our GroundCrew – the collective name we give to our volunteers.
