Of the missions attended across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas, 41 were in our helicopter and 65 in our critical care cars.
A total of 43 missions took place at night, when our pilots need to use specialised night vision goggles.
Swindon was the most frequently visited area, with 22 missions taking place in August. Our critical care team also attended 11 missions in the city of Bath, nine in Bristol, eight in Chippenham and six in Salisbury.
We performed 33 patient transfers to various hospitals, with 11 to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, 11 to Royal United Hospital in Bath and four to Great Western Hospital in Swindon. We transferred patients to seven different hospitals across the region.
In terms of mission types, our crew were called to 21 cardiac emergencies, 17 road traffic collisions and attended 11 incidents involving children.
